Threadjacking/threadhopping?: Absolutely!
4th-walling?: THIS ONE IS KIND OF WEIRD so here we go:
Because a large part of Jack's existence is based on belief IN him, recognizing him AS a "fictional/mythological" character per the legends of Jack Frost are fine, that is, any depictions that would be considered "media" in YOUR character's world. So for example, saying that your character watched the 70's era claymation as a child is perfectly good. (Jack himself, has never seen it.) The only 4th-walling I want to avoid is, "oh you're that character from that 2012 movie that came out".
Backtagging: Hell yes.
Fighting/maiming?: Jack's pretty resilient but I'm good with anything planned out in advance.
Death?: Welp.
Kissing/hugging/badtouching/etc?: Go for it~
Relationships: He's taken in game!
Telepathic Contact: Jack tutored under Kyle Rayner for learning how to mentally shield his mind, resulting in very few people who can get more than surface thoughts without his explicit consent. If you'd like to plot something in this vein, please contact me!

As a Spirit of Winter, Jack has some canon abilities which may come into play ICly.
I BELIEVE: In the movie, Jack was invisible and intangible to everyone because he was not believed in. We also saw that even the Guardians can be rendered back to that state if enough children stop believing, as what happened to Bunny. For RP purposes, this leaves people with three general options:
IMPORTANT! Ultimately it is that player's choice as to how they want to approach playing out this aspect. A character's belief evolves (or declines) as they spend time in game, so picking one option now doesn't limit your character to being permanently stuck in that state. This is only a guideline and can be adapted to each player's individual preference, since all options bring great variety to his CR!
• Permission to be tangible/intangible upon meeting?
SNOW GLITTER: Jack can enchant his snow to affect people and give them a little extra "boost of fun". In the movie it's seen to make even the most grouchy child have a total shift of attitude and join in with the other kids. For RP, the person will basically be hit with the sudden urge to cut loose and be a kid again. It can be resisted, but who wants to stay grumpy when everyone else is having fun?
Note: Those with strict mental control or firm willpower, or otherwise mentally or psychically shielded, will likely not be affected (unless player chooses them to be). It's been clarified in game that Jack's magic cannot outright control someone who does not want to be regardless of their level of willpower and that the magic is more like... mental entreaty than control.
• Permission to temporarily release your inner child?

I BELIEVE: In the movie, Jack was invisible and intangible to everyone because he was not believed in. We also saw that even the Guardians can be rendered back to that state if enough children stop believing, as what happened to Bunny. For RP purposes, this leaves people with three general options:
- Full Belief: You believe that a person can be the personification of a literal season or concept (not necessarily HIM specifically, just that a being is capable of filling that role). Spirits who control elemental and abstract concepts (seasons, time, luck, etc) or at least represent them, are understood to be real. Those in this category will most likely be able to see, hear, and physically touch Jack.
Partial Belief: You already believe in supernatural/magical figures, or the concept of magic in itself. The concept of embodied spirits may be considered far-fetched, but you allow it as a possibility, or might accept it if presented more evidence. Those in this category will most likely be able to hear Jack (whether in person or on the network) but perhaps not see or be able to touch him.
No Belief: You are a straight-laced, scientific-fact-only type, and magic is a silly fantasy! Evidence of extraordinary things are met with skepticism and challenged for hard evidence. Those in this category will most likely not be able to see, hear, or interact with Jack at all, though they may experience a brief chill if they move through any part of him. For network messages, it will mean they only see and/or hear what appears to be empty background.
IMPORTANT! Ultimately it is that player's choice as to how they want to approach playing out this aspect. A character's belief evolves (or declines) as they spend time in game, so picking one option now doesn't limit your character to being permanently stuck in that state. CHRISTENS THE POST
Notes: Zelos's world has summon spirits that are basically exactly like Jack Frost - they're the personification of different elements. He won't be expecting a summon spirit that, well, doesn't need to be summoned; but he probably won't have any trouble seeing or interacting with Jack. :3
SNOW GLITTER: Maybe.
Notes: Theoretically, absolutely; Zelos is like a grown-up child most of the time anyway. But he does not associate snow with Good Things, and actively avoids it in his canon, which... could lead to some interesting post-fun reactions? Probably a case-by-case basis for this one.

I BELIEVE: Non Believer! Such a non-believer. Good luck with this one, Jack.
Notes: Conan is an extremely determined skeptic. Do feel free to bother him as much as you like. I would love to play through a plot where Conan eventually learns to see him.
SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: Conan has been known to play in the show occasionally.
Danny Fenton
I BELIEVE: He's a ghost himself, so believer!
Notes: He doesn't believe in Jack Frost specifically (until the first time they meet), but hes pretty familiar with the idea of ghosts who can represent ideas. (see that time he ran into the ghost master of time.)
SNOW GLITTER: Maybe! Danny tends to get a halfway pass on mental effects. He can be affected, but it is usually at a weaker level than a full ghost or full human would receive. This is because most mental manipulations are aimed at either human minds or ghost minds, and as someone in between he has partial immunity. But turn the power up...
Notes: Looking forward to puns!

I BELIEVE: All the believing
Notes: Gods/spirits/weird shit is very, very real in Yoda's world and even though she has, at best, a passing knowledge of it, she'd definitely believe anything
because she's gullible.SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: Yorda has a lot to catch up on in terms of getting to have fun so she'll be hit hard by the effects.
Klaus:
I BELIEVE: Partial - Full Belief
Notes: He's lived in Jerusalem's Lot for three years. There is nothing that surprises him. He's also talked to Jack before so.
SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: He may have a nigh unshakable will, but while he looks like a grump, he's really a big squish. Magical joy snow will absolutely bring out his inner child.

I BELIEVE: Non-Believer
Notes: He is definitely another Skeptic. BUT if Jack's existence can be proven then he'd accept it.
SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: Because everyone needs Sherlock Holmes acting like
even more ofa child.no subject
I BELIEVE: Believer!
Notes: All kinds of crazy BS happens to him daily. Also, he once fought a guy who may or may not have been Actual Santa. (Though he hasn't been canon-bumped to that yet, SOON)
SNOW GLITTER: Go for it
Notes: He's hilariously susceptible to mental effects and honestly, he could use some laughter and actual childhood joy in his life.

I BELIEVE: Definite Believer
Notes: Comes from the same world as Zelos, except she not only believes in the Summon Spirits...she's the one who can Summon them. Her mentality always is, that if Spirits occur on one world, why not on another?
SNOW GLITTER: Maybe
Notes: Maybe depends on the situation. If it's one where there are kids already involved, then no glitter is necessary. Sheena loves kids, and enjoys playing with them. However, it's a situation where she needs to cut loose and can't bring herself to do so (say at a gathering), then little miss sulky butt just might need a dose.
Costigan
Notes: As his memory comes back, he'll switch to partial belief almost immediately, though I think he'd see Jack because he'd believe in Jack specifically, even without full belief of the concept in general.
SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: He's welcome to BUT YOU KNOW HOW COSTIGAN WILL FEEL ABOUT IT.
Penny
Notes: I mean, he believes in fauns as gods and talking animals, so personifications of spirits doesn't seem too far off.
SNOW GLITTER: Yes
Notes: But he'll probs resist because he's Penny and also the magic/psychic thing would probs make it easier to do so

Notes: Sonja is skeptical but she's also somewhat religious and at least pays lip service to the Kami of Yellow Comet. Since she's come to Keeliai she's perhaps even become more open minded with the multitude of phenomenah that exist.
SNOW GLITTER: OMG yes.

SNOW GLITTER: Maybe! If she didn't know beforehand and she figures it out, though, she'll get pretty pissy.
